Formula 2-3-5™

There can be many possible causes of pain. However, I believe in starting the process of elimination by treating the most common cause of pain: muscles, tendons and fascia being held hostage by scar tissue and adhesions.

Bottle Therapy's mission is to empower people living in pain to learn the most effective way to treat scar tissue and adhesions in the most efficient way by using minimal resources, energy and time! Together we can treat the treatable, prevent the preventable and eliminate unnecessary pain, surgeries and medication.

Our blog, The Bottle Therapy Formula, shared the key ingredient to relieving pain long term and that key was daily self-therapy treatments. Bottle Therapy, or Elbow Therapy, to be more specific. We also revealed that breaking down scar tissue and adhesions in the fascia requires a very specific tool, technique and pain-specific treatment routines.

As I conducted Free Drop-in Pain Clinics in my community this past fall and winter season, Bottle Therapy's Formula 2-3-5™ emerged and pain relief increased dramatically!

Seems simple right? Well, although it requires discipline to follow through, this is as simple as it's going to get!

Fact 1:

When you apply shorter treatments more frequently throughout the day, you can disrupt pain patterns and muscle memory. Your soft tissue remains in more of a constant state of pain relief and reduced inflammation rather than on a roller coaster of no pain, no stiffness to increased pain and increased stiffness. This consistency, with reduced acidity, allows your body to heal and regenerate new healthy cells over time. Your body is given an "environment to thrive"!

Fact 2:

Shorter Bottle Therapy or Elbow Therapy treatments using less pressure prevents soft tissue damage.This increases the body's ability to receive multiple treatments each day; up to 3 treatments to be exact.

Fact 3:

80%-100% pain relief is often achieved (in most cases) between day 2 and day 4, when treatments are received 2-3 times each day. Therefore, it was decided that 5 days seemed to be a logical time frame for the formula and more realistic for patient commitment.

This 5 Day Challenge is assessed upon completion. Results are analyzed. If 100% pain relief is achieved, a maintenance therapy plan is recommended to maintain long-term relief.

If results are less than 100%, Formula 2-3-5™ can be repeated until results are achieved. Modifications to the formula are also recommended based on troubleshooting strategies.

For example, adjustments can be made such as:

- time and frequency of treatments

- use of Elbow Therapy instead of Bottle Therapy

- an increase in the surface area/muscle groups being treatment

- the use of effective body rolling and stretching when appropriate
